Hey, I’m Jess – aka the “Queen of Content”

(their words, not mine!)

A Geordie-turned-Londoner-turned-Brightonian-turned-Manc with a passion for digital storytelling and creating content that actually connects.

For 15+ years, I’ve produced content, run campaigns, and led strategies for brands including BBC Three, BBC Music, Strictly Come Dancing, Radio 1, EastEnders, Channel 4, BBC World Service and the University of Sussex – helping them go viral, grow audiences into the millions, and build engaged communities.

Then came Covid, remote working, and a lightbulb moment: I could take everything I’d learned to help more businesses across the UK grow online - while actually making it to nursery pick-up. And so, Social Seahorse set sail.
